United Way of Summit & Medina to Host 31st Annual Taste of Medina County

Sep 14, 2022

On Oct. 6, United Way of Summit & Medina will be hosting the 31st Annual Taste of Medina County, presented by Leppo Rents. The event will bring together local Medina County restaurants to show off their culinary skills and treat guests to some of the finest food our community has to offer. Guests will cast their votes for their favorite restaurant, and the winner will receive the Best of Show award. Raffle prizes and live music by The Other Brothers and an open bar will also be highlights of the evening.

Taste of Medina County will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Weymouth Country Club at 3946 Weymouth Rd, Medina. To purchase tickets for $65, visit uwsummitmedina.org.

Proceeds from the event will support United Way of Summit & Medina’s work in Medina County. The local nonprofit works to advance education, financial stability and health in Summit and Medina counties. Through its Bold Goals by 2028, United Way is working to boost child literacy, expand youth success, financially empower local residents and advance health equity.

“We’re honored to be hosting Taste of Medina County again this year and are excited to have our community join us,” said Malorie Kormos, associate vice president of major gifts and community engagement for United Way of Summit & Medina. “We are grateful to our presenting sponsor, Leppo Rents, and to our gold sponsors, Westfield Insurance Foundation and Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnson, Attorneys for their support. It’s going to be an incredibly fun evening with great food, drinks, friends and live music. The money we raise will help United Way provide services to help residents in our Medina community build lasting success.”
