Reading to children helps stimulate their imaginations, contributes to language development, and helps to encourage early literacy. Share your love of reading with kids in our community this Read to Me Day!
On Monday, March 3, volunteers will visit schools throughout Summit and Medina counties and read to students in celebration of Read Across America Day! Grab a book and join us for a day of meaningful impact and progress toward Bold Goal 1.
Bold Goal 1 is 65% of Akron Public Schools third graders reading at or above grade level by 2028.
