Housing Services
Housing is a basic need that everyone deserves. United Way of Summit & Medina’s Housing Services coordinates access to homeless shelters, permanent supportive housing and rent assistance. Your donations allow our case managers to provide personalized service and connections to helpful resources, working with each client to address their individual needs!

Our Financial Empowerment Centers in Akron and Medina help Summit and Medina County residents build financial stability by giving them the resources to budget and save, pay down debt and boost their credit scores. By donating to United Way, you are providing community members access to the financial coaches they need in order to get back on their feet.

Our 211 line helps people throughout our community find local resources when they don’t know where to turn for help. We provide information on thousands of services for Summit and Medina County residents, including supplemental food and nutrition programs, prenatal care, mental health services and more. When you donate to United Way, you are ensuring that our community has 24/7 access to our trained and trauma informed call center.
